About The Organizer
The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) is the UK’s premier trade body representing companies that conceive, create, develop and manage trade and consumer events, serving the needs of event organisers and the broader events sector. AEO is run by its members for the benefit of its members through an elected council of representatives and specialist working groups that focus on advocacy, community building, talent development and industry insight.
The organisation’s mission is to be the voice of the event-organising community, promoting its interests, influencing policy, and supporting professional growth across the events industry at all levels. AEO provides members with access to research, best practice guidance, networking opportunities, working groups, conferences, forums and industry events that facilitate collaboration, knowledge exchange and commercial opportunities. As part of the Events Industry Alliance (EIA) alongside sister associations such as the Association of Event Venues and the Event Supplier and Services Association, AEO helps foster cooperation across the wider events ecosystem to address challenges, highlight economic impact and drive innovation.
